“That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us…”
– John 17:21
This was Our Lord’s heartfelt prayer before He willingly suffered for the salvation of humanity. In this prayer, Jesus glorifies the Father and petitions for the unity of all His disciples through love.
Heeding the Lord’s call to unity amongst all Christians, the Progressive Catholic Church through the Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Relations (OEIR) strives to establish understanding, dialogue, and greater cooperation between other Christian denominations, apostolic churches, and ecclesiastical communities.
The Office of Ecumenical and Interreligious Relations serves the Progressive Catholic Church as a resource to her clergy and laity in all matters pertaining to ecumenicism. The directing officer of the OEIR is the Progressive Catholic Church’s representative to the various Christian communities in areas where the Progressive Catholic Church has a presence.
